Vintage Bridal Collaboration at Chapel Farm in the Swan Valley

Teniele Arnold from Teniele Arnold Photography and Simone Smith from Team Mermaid share this collaboration with local vendors at the renowned wedding destination Chapel Farm located in the Swan Valley. Taking their inspiration from the rustic backdrop of the valley and pairing it with vintage styling, you’ll love what these local artists have to offer!

Teniele Arnold was the photographer for the day. She specialises in the use of natural light with beautiful country style locations, and many of her images have a whimsical vibe. She was the driving force for this bridal shoot and believes in supporting her local community by providing a media platform for models and artists.

The bridesmaid was Miss NAIDOC beauty and Miss World entrant Nyima McNamara. A new arrival on the modelling scene she has featured in fashion movements like Glamour for all and many couture pageants. Here she wears a luxurious up-to-the-moment look that is very flattering to the female form, selected by Kristina B. Kristina B dresses take a Hollywood style to give every woman a celebrity aesthetic, whilst the floral arrangements use shape, colour and simplicity to make an equally bold statement.

Hayley and Dan are a husband and wife team from Rustic Romance and their vision for this shoot was derived from their own wedding. They provided all the little details with the perfect vintage props.

The cake was made by Branka Njegich who handpainted a white, gold and pink tiered-creation that looks spectacular. She hopes to one day take her hobby to the next level and start her own cake business, so Perth watch out!

Simone Smith from Team Mermaid believes that beauty services need to be inexpensive and accessible to all people. The idea of the photoshoot has been a dream of Simone’s for years:

“I really wanted to show all that local small Perth business can deliver vintage dream weddings. By, buying local, consumers are supporting local communities and help local families support their children! It’s a positive flow on effect!”

Vicky Hunt from Through the White Door says that “A crucial part to feeling glamourous is choosing the right dress.” She chose the exquisite, exclusive gowns you see here from Rue de Seine Ivy and Truvelle Kirsty. They embody the classic, vintage-style gowns for which Through the White Door is known.

Featuring as the shoot’s bride is one of Perth’s most successful, hardworking and loved models: Heidi Andrews from North Perth. Heidi, works tirelessly for charity and supports the local fashion industry and was recently crowned Miss Global Australia and Runner-up Miss Galaxy.

She features here with Matthew James Tamsitt-Pedrochi, actor, model, musician and artist who can be seen on catwalks such as the Fox Feet Website Launch.

This Pink Chaise Lounge was provided by Maisey Collections and is available for hire.
