Reggie & Shaze’s meticulously planned Fremantle wedding at Little Creatures

Jason Tey shares the wedding of Reggie and Sharleen at one of our favourite ceremony locations: Quarantine Park in Bicton. It’s such a lovely, quiet place overlooking the river with plenty of shady trees and the historic Bicton Baths down at the foot of the bank. Jason says the wedding was just something else… Shaze has an incredible focus and attention to detail and she planned everything, leaving no stone unturned in the quest to make this wedding the best ever.

As you can imagine, a photographer like Jason—with twenty years of experience in the wedding industry—has seen it all, and yet even he couldn’t fail to be surprised at the level of detail!

The ceremony décor and activities had everything necessary to make the ceremony look amazing, and to make sure the guests had a great time. That involved lawn games, mismatched vintage chairs, a barista, a big grazing table, a magician, a bar, a band (The Milkmen) and flowers everywhere. Shaze enlisted the services of Sophia Monique who was all over the fine details.

Even with two photographers we went around shooting everything we could find and I don’t even know if we managed to get it all because each time we thought we’d shot everything I’d find something (probably rose gold coloured) I hadn’t shot and that new thing would have their names laser etched into it. I kid you not!

After the ceremony, the bridal party caught the train into Freo for more photography around the harbour, and their reception at Little Creatures in Fremantle with some amazing music and another awesome Band (Hans Fiance Band). A little bit of old school R&B is always good for the soul.
