Here’s a Donut Board Project You’ll Want at Your own Wedding

Stevie from Would You Marry Me sends us this awesome little DIY project. She says that since they added these to their own collection of decor items available for hire they've been incredibly popular with brides.

1. Mark out an evenly-spaced grid (here the holes are approximately 12cm apart) and drill the holes.

2. Cut the dowel into even lengths (8cm works well) and glue them into the holes. The wood can now stained and painted if desired.

3. Now you can paint on an inviting message. You can use some of these free fonts to guide your own lettering.

These boards (with the easel) can be hired from Wood You Marry Me (Perth).

And then there’s also a great DIY mini-donut wall over on the Merry Thought blog, whilst we also like the Donut Bar variation on the concept.
