Power Tools & Super Soakers at Vaughan and Emily’s Darlington Estate Wedding

Emily and Vaughan tied the knot on the Darlington Estate Winery in the Perth Hills. Photographer Kate Drennan says that it was a magical venue with the deep green landscape contrasting beautifully with the navy blue bridesmaid dresses and rich red floral blooms.

There was plenty of opportunities for some great photographs, with power tools and the incidental discovery of some super soakers adding some quirky shots to the day. For DIY items, the couple made wooden place holders and olive oil bottles as take home favours.

Emily loved the fairy lights strung up everywhere in the venue and says you can’t go wrong with glass windows and a view. Arriving in the buzzing, light-filled reception hall and dancing on the brick floors in the happy atmosphere was one of the highlights of the evening.

Find out how Emily and Vaughan made these cards with this DIY post.
