Also known as the Gibbs Pool Amphitheatre, this recreational facility is built against the backdrop of the dam wall and include an amphitheatre, tiered grassy picnic areas, a sound stage, paved walkways and landscaped gardens.

Harvey Dam is located a little less then 2 hours from Perth, mid-way between Pinjara and Bunbury. Constructed in the mid-1990s, the Dam includes picnicking and recreational facilities ranked 4.5 stars by Trip Adviser users. The views from the Dam wall are incredible, and the gardens manicured and lushly watered.

You can make a booking for your wedding ceremony by submitting the Application Form to the Harvey Visitor Centre. More information about the Dam can be seen in this brochure from the Water Corporation.

Note: On some days, particularly during summer when there is a fire risk, the dam recreation areas may be closed. You can find out by calling the Water Corporation 24 hours on 13 13 75 or check their Facebook page.
