Where we are

The Geraldton foreshore area includes three swimming beaches and a foreshore comprising public open space, landscaped walking paths and shaded recreational areas.

The foreshore was developed in 2007 from what was previously a disused railway yard. Tree plantings are still quite young, and sufficient shade may be something brides want to take into consideration.

At the western end of the foreshore is the new Esplanade, offering views of the city, port, Champion Bay and the Moresby Ranges. There also some historic buildings in the town center within walking distance of the foreshore for photography opportunities after the ceremony.

Applications to use the reserve are not required for wedding ceremonies with a marquee less than 54sqm in area.
