Vince & Anne-Marie’s backyard marquee wedding in Gnangara

Anne-Marie and Vince got married in early June, and fortunately found themselves exchanging vows on a sunny winter’s day (not that rain has to mean wedding disaster). They certainly got the most out of the day—an outside ceremony against the limestone backdrop of the Brookleigh Equestrian Centre in the Swan Valley, photography sessions on the Brookleigh grounds (Anne loves horses!), at the wooden bridge over Bells Rapid, and at Gnangara Pines, followed by a reception at Anne’s father’s property just nearby.

Michelle & Craig’s beach wedding at Bunker Bay

Well how’s this for a cute story—Michelle and Craig were neighbours as children until Craig’s family moved away when he was 15, and she was 10. Twenty years later they met once again, hit it off and found themselves engaged within 6 months! The couple got married in December 2016, and they decided on something relaxed, beachy and fun.

Get inspired by Alicia and Alex’s delightful rustic wedding in Busselton

Well, I’m so glad the shots of the couple’s first dance turned out so well because for Alicia, it was one of her favourite moments—dancing in the clouds. Alicia and Alex got married in April last year at the Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton. They both had large families so they wanted the day to be loud and entertaining for all their relatives to enjoy, and that’s exactly how it turned out.

Did Clyde & Shona make the best wedding video of the year?

Clyde & Shona had the craziest wedding I’ve attended all year—just so much fun! Actually it was pretty normal to begin with, the couple got married at the at St Michael the Archangel Chapel in Leederville with the reception at the Aquarium of WA (AQWA), and some photo sessions in between. They wanted to get married at AQWA because Hillary’s was the same place Clyde had proposed.

Ashleigh & Clinton’s Fremantle Wedding

Ashleigh and Clinton where such a lovely couple and so photogenic. They were open to different ideas which gave me plenty of scope for creative experimentation and led to some wonderful shots. They chose the beautiful Sorrell Park along the banks of the Swan River for the ceremony, and it was the perfect place to celebrate their special day with family, friends and… their Labrador, Indi! (She was so well behaved and made the perfect groomspet).

This couple finished their romantic engagement shoot with the best kind of fight

So for her engagement shoot, Jessica was looking for something natural and rustic (this trend is still going strong ladies!) and she suggested a few places around Perth. I knew that what with her wanting to incorporate paint throwing into the shoot, it was going to be difficult to find a place in Perth that would let it happen on their property. So I suggested our own.
